I believe that a wellness model truly supports the whole person: the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual parts in each of us. This informs my work with individuals and couples by making psychotherapy a meaningful journey in which we discover how their unique abilities and strengths can be applied to challenging life situations, relationships, and the unfolding of new ways of being. I work cognitively, symbolically, and somatically, and maintain a practice rooted in interpersonal feminism and mindful compassion. My work with couples is based in Emotionally Focused Therapy and the ever growing field of interpersonal neurobiology.
